My goal is to provide a professional teaching environment for the local music industry. As I grow my business, I will be adding studio space for other musicians to instruct in piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, dobro, banjo, fiddle and violin. My future plans are to offer a venue for the public to enjoy our local musicians' talents.
Hometown Music Studios opened in 1992. HMS offered studio space for area musicians to teach. The studio offered a sound proof environment for the instruction in piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, dobro, banjo, fiddle, and violin. The studio at that time was not self-sufficient and after two years I regrettably closed the doors. Upon retirement this past Feburary, I revived HMS and have resumed teaching. I'm teaching at 226 S. Alabama Avenue. I'm looking forward to growing this business to include; providing studio space for other musicians to instruct students, providing a venue for the public to enjoy our local musicians' talents, recording and promoting local musical events.
