Hometown Music Studios

At present, all HMS offers are guitar lessons. However, we are getting in touch with area teachers to provide instruction in piano, drums, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro, violin and fiddle. If you are a musician that wants an opportunity to teach your instrument, contact us for more information.

Each month we offer a clinic to instruct you in the care of your guitar. We'll provide cleaning products to clean and protect the finish on your guitar body, neck and fret board. We want to help you protect your investment. Clinics are scheduled on the 1st Saturday of each month. Clinics start at 10AM and end at 11AM. A re-stringing workshop starts immediately after the clinic. You're more than welcome to stay for that as well.

We provide a monthly guitar re-stringing workshop for students and the general public. If you have a guitar that needs a fresh set of strings, bring the guitar and a new set of strings by the studio and we'll have that guitar sounding it's best, again. Workshops are scheduled on the 1st Saturday of each month. Workshops start at 11AM and end at noon.

HMS will provide recording services in the future but is not set up at this time. My friends, Tim Lawter and Rusty Milner , owners of Studio 151, will accommodate you with your recording needs. They work with all genre, provide singers/musicians if needed (rates vary) and have a Mobile Studio service. Do you need to book a band for a wedding, special event, corporate event or a private party? My friend, Doug Baker, can customize the musical aspects of your event.
